We're really excited to show you the results of one of our latest project. It is is the same building as the Blake Street Urban Escape Lofts that we posted recently. I was hired by the same investors as the other unit, however this unit faces west and has a completely different aesthetic. We wanted to create a rustic getaway experience right in the city so that it plays to not only the gorgeous mountain views, but also the fact that it is located right in the heart of downtown Denver, next to Coors Field.
The lofts were built in 2008 with pretty basic, builder grade materials and had been well worn over the last six years. Due to their amazing location and spectacular views we decided that these spaces could be truly exceptional.
In order to bring a truly opulent feeling to this "Rustic Romantic" nirvana we started by laying hand-scraped hickory floors with a gentle cherry stain. This beautiful flooring gives the space a warm inviting sensation and rich ambiance.
Stacked slate gives the hearth a polished alluring sentiment, inviting you to cozy up with a book to enjoy mountain views beside a welcoming fireplace.
Adding additional interest to the stylish slate we affixed a reclaimed wood mantle dating over 100 years old. This treated and sealed marvel gives the already lavish chimney unique mountain charm.
Along with a multitude of custom lighting fixtures, we increased the grandeur of the dinning area and kitchen with oil-rubbed bronze chandelier and pendant lights.
By exchanging the builder grade backsplash for a mosaic tile, and carrying it up to the ceiling, we created the feeling of a truly custom kitchen ideal for entertaining or a quite night at home.
The powder room needed a full facelift so we selected a gorgeous hand blown glass lighting fixture, leather wrapped mirror and a stunning mosaic inlayed vanity with vessel sink.
Natural light makes this office the perfect place to work while enjoying a view of the ballpark or Flatirons mountain range.
Over stuffed chairs, bright lighting, and a warm color pallet make this landing alcove at the base of the stairs an enticing space to relax.
Each of the bedrooms in this expansive condo is fitted with custom cherry wood closets designed to mange a wide-ranging wardrobe and footwear collection.
A palatial master bathroom with added gentlemen's closet creates a luxurious master bath experience. Basket woven glass backspace, ornate mother of pearl mirrors, and elegant travertine stone lighting create a space for genuine luxury.
We are very excited with this project and the warms that it exudes. What do you think? Do you prefer this unit or the Urban Lofts on the other side of the building with city views?
