Those whose bathrooms take a long time, come out with the best..... is that how it goes? Well that was definitely the mantra in this updated 3 piece master bathroom! A friend of Corinne's at c2Design called on her expertise to turn her master bathroom into a girl's haven. Marble, herringbone, and crystal transformed this typical bath into a girly, yet sophisticated space.
Located directly off the master bedroom, it was important to have a color palette compliment both rooms. Aqua glass subway tile surrounds the new extra deep soaking tub along with a gorgeous accent herringbone detail lining the shower lending a touch of color and visual interest.
The herringbone detail is continued in marble behind the toilet and sink, almost like wallpaper.
A new soaking tub was a must have addition since its sure to be used most nights of the week.
The bath is accentuated with marble, hexagon floors bringing a sophistication to the room.
A special touch of a quatrefoil shower curtain on each side creates a drapery look.
An aqua vanity toped with a coordinating marble stone top with undermount sink was chosen to pull from the subway tiles in the shower. That along with the contemporary brushed nickel plumbing fixtures add to the "jewelry" of the space.
The room is topped off with a crystal light fixture and smoked framed mirror continuing the subtle glam literally from floor to ceiling.
